Dr. Aga Pinowska Founder & Lead Phycologist
With a passion for algae that spans since childhood, Dr. Aga Pinowska has dedicated over 25 years to the study and application of micro and macro algae. After earning her Ph.D., she spent decades specializing in the environmental bioassessment of freshwater lakes, wetlands, and streams, as well as the development of algae-based renewable fuels.
Dr. Aga Pinowska brings a wealth of expertise to the aquaculture industry, focusing on the critical role of algae in nutrition—from live larval feeds to the integration of dried algae as a sustainable feed ingredient. Her deep technical knowledge also extends to filamentous freshwater algae and marine macroalgae, making her a versatile leader in the field of applied phycology.
